Young Creators Fest Terms & Conditions | Kinderzone
These Terms & Conditions govern participation in Young Creators Fest, a KinderZone creative event for children ages 5–18. By registering for the event, paying an entry fee, submitting artwork, attending the event, or participating in related activities, the participant’s parent or legal guardian agrees to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of the child participant.
1. Event Overview
Young Creators Fest is a creative community event organized by KinderZone to encourage imagination, artistic expression, confidence, and meaningful creative experiences for children and families.
KinderZone reserves the right to reasonably modify:

schedules
-
activities
-
event structure
-
themes
-
venue logistics
-
judging format
-
participation guidelines
-
safety procedures
when necessary for safety, fairness, operational needs, weather, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
2. Eligibility
Participation is open to children ages 5–18 on the date of the event.
A parent or legal guardian must complete registration for any participant under 18 years old.
KinderZone may request age confirmation for age-group placement purposes.
3. Registration & Fees
A registration fee may apply for participation unless otherwise stated.
Registration is considered complete only after:

the registration form is submitted, and
-
payment is successfully received (if applicable)
Because seating and participation capacity may be limited, KinderZone may close registration once capacity is reached.
4. Event Themes, Format & Judging
Themes, prompts, or activity categories may be assigned by age group and shared through registration materials or event communication.
KinderZone reserves the right to:

modify themes or event format
-
establish judging or showcase criteria
-
appoint judges, review panel members, or volunteers
-
select featured creations, recognitions, or awards
All judging and selection decisions are final.
Participation does not guarantee awards, publication, merchandise selection, or featured placement.
5. Parent & Guardian Responsibility
Parents or legal guardians are responsible for:

providing accurate registration information
-
timely drop-off and pickup
-
transportation to and from the event
-
disclosing allergies, medical conditions, sensory sensitivities, or accommodations
-
supervising participants before and after the event unless otherwise stated
Children ages 5–8 must remain accompanied by a parent or guardian unless KinderZone explicitly states otherwise.
Unless specifically stated in writing, Young Creators Fest is not a childcare or unsupervised drop-off event.
KinderZone reserves the right to remove or deny participation if behavior creates safety concerns or significantly disrupts the experience for others.
5A. Food & Allergy Disclaimer
Snacks or refreshments may be available during the event.
While KinderZone may attempt to accommodate disclosed allergies or dietary restrictions, KinderZone cannot guarantee allergen-free environments or the prevention of cross-contamination.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for evaluating food safety for their child.
5B. Emergency Medical Authorization
In the event of a medical emergency, the parent or legal guardian authorizes KinderZone and its representatives to contact emergency services and seek reasonable emergency medical assistance for the participant if the parent or guardian cannot immediately be reached.
6. Artwork Ownership
The child participant and their family retain ownership of the original artwork created or submitted for the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By participating in Young Creators Fest, the parent or legal guardian grants KinderZone a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to:

display artwork on KinderZone-managed platforms
-
feature artwork in event recaps, showcases, announcements, and promotional materials
-
include artwork in digital galleries or social media
-
resize, crop, or format artwork for presentation purposes
-
create non-commercial previews or mockups demonstrating how artwork could appear on keepsake or merchandise products
Any commercial merchandise collaborations involving a child’s artwork may require separate communication and additional permission.
7. Participant Names, Photos & Media Permissions
During registration, parents or legal guardians may select their preferred photo and media-sharing permissions for the participant.
Depending on the selected permissions, KinderZone may use:

KinderZone will make reasonable efforts to honor parent media preferences.
If a parent or guardian requests limited or no photography, KinderZone will make reasonable efforts to avoid or limit identifiable use of the participant’s image, though complete exclusion from background photography cannot be guaranteed in group event settings.
7A. Parent Photography & Social Media Courtesy
Families may take personal photos or videos during the event for private family use.
Parents and attendees are kindly asked not to publicly post identifiable images or videos of other children without permission from that child’s parent or legal guardian.
KinderZone asks all participating families to respect the privacy preferences of others when sharing event content online.
7B. Event Galleries & Shared Albums
KinderZone may share event photos with participating families through private online galleries or photo-sharing platforms.
Families receiving access to private galleries are requested not to publicly repost or redistribute identifiable images of other children without parent or guardian permission.
8. Merchandise & Optional Purchases
KinderZone may offer optional keepsake or merchandise products featuring participant artwork.
Examples may include:

décor
-
accessories

apparel
-
creative keepsakes
Any merchandise purchase is separate from event registration and subject to:

Product previews are illustrative. Final colors, print placement, sizing, or materials may vary slightly from digital previews.
9. Refund & Return Policy
Event Registration
Event registration fees are generally non-refundable once a spot has been reserved except:

if KinderZone cancels the event and does not reschedule, or

where otherwise required by law
If KinderZone cancels the event without rescheduling, eligible refunds will generally be processed within 30 days.
Merchandise Purchases
Customized or made-to-order merchandise items are generally final sale and not eligible for return or exchange except where required by law.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or due to a fulfillment error, families should contact KinderZone within 7 days of delivery.
KinderZone may offer a replacement or reasonable resolution at its discretion.

15. Limitation of Liability
